This blog started in a very baaaad way...
I'm so ashamed of that!
My past year was awful but now things are better and I hope for a new and positive beginning, both for me and my blog!
Good news: I've got a new flat and kitchen and lot of time for food testing!
Bad news: I lack of English practise, so I ask sorry in advantage if my posts won't be correct.
Just correct me if I'm wrong, ok?

BLUEBERRY PEACH MUFFINS
I love baking muffins.
I prefer eating other kind of cakes, but muffins are so enjoyable to make.
They are easy and quick to prepare and it's a very versatile recipe because you can mix any kind of ingredient can suit your personal taste.
I purchased a basket of blueberries few days ago because I found a special offer. They usually are quite expensive here, but now prices descreased a little because berries won't be on season anymore very soon and markets give them away low-cost as they aren't so tasteful and juicy as they are in August.
I also had a couple of peaches that weren't that fresh anymore.
So I mixed these ingredients together and it ended up a delicious experiment!

STEWED STRING BEANS
Summer is almost over.
Market stalls are replacing all the hot season fresh products with Autumnal typical fruits and vegetables.
I purchased a bunch of string beans before they definitely disappear from the stalls because they won't be on season anymore in few weeks time.
Stewed string beans are a traditional Tuscan recipe and they are one of my favourite Summer dish: they are so tasteful!!
Someone eat them boiled and seasoned with just salt, pepper and extra-virgin olive oil, but in my opinion the best way to appreciate their particular taste is to stew them, expecially with meat.

BRUSCHETTA
In my first post I'd like to introduce one of the easiest and quickiest (and yummiest!) Italian traditional recipes: bruschetta!
It's usually served as an appetizer and it's very common during Summer meals because it's a cold dish that doesn't need cooking and its main ingredients (as tomatoes and basil) are at the top quality during that season.
There are hundreds of different kinds of bruschetta, but the traditional one is made with bread, garlic, tomato, fresh basil and extra-virgin olive oil (or at least it is in Tuscany).
It's still quite warm here and today I found few tomatoes that were going to rotten in few days, so I decided to have bruschetta for lunch.
